Managers’ and Coaches’ Meeting 16 Feb 09 – Key Points
Coach Registrations – all Managers are reminded that anyone who is helping out with any aspect of running the squad and therefore has direct dealings with Caversham players, must be registered with the Club. The registration form is available on the website. Forms should be forwarded to Richard Spruyt
SCML – is now becoming a Charter League. ‘Respect’ packs were distributed to Managers of SCML teams. If you were not at the meeting please contact Martyn Keep for further information and arrangements to collect your pack.
FA Level 1 / First Aid Training – Good progress has been made in ensuring all coaches have the required qualifications. Managers should forward names of further candidates for training to Richard Spruyt.
Website – Managers are responsible for making sure that the information on the site about their squad and age group is up to date and accurate. Please check and contact Peter Phillips with any amendments.
Accidents and Incidents – All accidents and incidents must be recorded. There is a new incident form now on the website within the ‘Club Documents’ section on the Admin tab. Please make sure that you complete the form and send it to the Club Welfare Officer, Richard Spruyt. If you are in doubt as to whether an incident is sufficiently serious to warrant recording please fill in the form anyway. It will only take a couple of minutes.
Equipment at Clayfield and Highdown – The Club relies on people taking care of the equipment on both sites. If things get broken as will happen on occasion, please let the Club know. Please don’t just turn your back and forget about it. It is really annoying if your turn up to use stored equipment such as the Clayfield Samba Goals and find that they are unusable. Take care of what we have – it all costs money – and report problems so that things can be replaced/repaired.
